Yes, but a fog/smoke machine significantly enhances the visual impact of the beam and animation effects. Without smoke, you'll still see projected patterns and graphics on surfaces — but the dynamic mid-air beam effects are best experienced with smoke.
The L2800 supports 5 control modes: Auto, Sound Activated, Master/Slave, DMX512 (6-channel simple / 32-channel professional), and IR Remote Control. You can switch between modes to suit your setup.

Yes. The L2800 is designed for indoor use (10–35°C) and holds multiple safety certifications including CE-EMC, CE-LVD, FCC, RoHS 2.0, and FDA. Always avoid looking directly into the light source.
The L2800 uses a built-in high-speed motor scanning system. A light operational sound from the motor is normal and is not a defect — it is part of the standard scanning mechanism.
The L2800 supports three installation methods: floor-standing, wall-mount, and desktop placement. It comes with a remote control so you can operate it from up to 10 metres away regardless of placement.

This laser light does not support custom homemade image/animation creation. It comes with built-in patterns controllable via DMX or remote.
